Expert Tradition Meets Creative Woodworking

I’m Alexis, a Berlin-trained Tischler (joiner and carpenter) and the hands behind Mr. Screw Loose. Born and raised in Berlin, I grew up in a city where history and innovation intertwine. That environment taught me to appreciate deep-rooted traditions while keeping an open mind for creative solutions.  

​I completed three intensive years of training under a master craftsman, where I mastered precision, structural integrity, and the timeless artistry of woodworking.

​In 2011, I brought my craft to Sydney, where my passion for quality craftsmanship truly flourished. Today, I combine European trade precision with a relaxed, friendly, "can-do" attitude. Whether it’s a tricky repair, custom joinery, or fixing those everyday household problems, I believe no job is too small and no challenge is too complex.
